Autumn 2023

2 October 2023

We're excited to share updates from Samuel and Lilian. Samuel, grateful to the Acorn Project, has completed his internship and looks forward to his career. Lilian, supported through high school by our charity, has achieved her nursing degree and now enjoys a successful nursing career.

Summer 2023

3 July 2023

Samuel is nearing the end of his internship and will soon qualify as a Higher Clinical Officer. There's news from Kenya about our fundraising donations being used to purchase food parcels as part of a feeding programme for remote villages.

Summer 2022

4 July 2022

Samuel has successfully completed his exams and is awaiting placement for his one year internship in a Government hospital.
We visit the wonderful Grifaid water filters production factory in Washington.

Spring 2023

3 April 2023

More updates about Samuels internship rotations and how much he’s enjoying his role at Webuye County Hospital. The rainwater harvesting project at Kome School is complete!

Spring 2022

4 April 2022

Samuel is awaiting his final university results and explains the NGO programme he is working on in Kenya. The sanitisation project at Rakoro school is completed.

Autumn 2022

14 November 2022

Samuel has begun his internship at Webuye County Hospital and he explains his role. There’s also news from a couple of Trustees for Books and Bread for Kenya charity about their recent visit to their orphanage and school in Kenya.
